Virtual try-on is technology that shows you how a product looks on your own body before you buy it. It comes in two forms. Photo-based try-on takes a still image of you plus an image of a garment and generates a new picture. Live try-on reads your camera and renders the garment onto you at frame rate, so you can move and watch how it falls. Anywear is the second kind, and it runs on any store you browse rather than a partner list.
In practice the two answer different questions. A generated photo settles colour and rough proportion. Movement settles the rest: whether a wrap dress stays shut when you reach, whether a boxy tee reads boxy or shapeless on your shoulders. That second question is the one that usually decides the purchase, and it is the one a still frame cannot reach.
Anywear opens in your browser and asks for camera access. Nothing is uploaded, and there's no photo to prepare — no clean background, no good lighting, no full-body shot.
